One Big Day. One Big Thanks. One Big Event.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2011 Big Event possible this year! It was the biggest student turnout ever and the event was a huge success overall! There was a total of 70 service projects and over 600 student volunteers!

A message to the 2011 Big Event student volunteers:

The Big Event is the largest campus-wide community service project at Longwood. March 26th, 2011 was the third annual Big Event and the biggest one so far with nearly 650 student volunteers. This annual day of service would not be made possible without all of the students who volunteered on the day of the event. We appreciate your dedication to helping the residents of Farmville. They are very thankful for your hard work. We would like to thank each and every one of you for coming together and creating a better bond between Longwood students and the Farmville community. We look forward to your participation in this growing community service event.
